Longest Z4 commute (i.e. for work)

As prompted by the comments in the 'Spotted' thread, so I'll go first.

My longest commute (i.e. there & back all in one day) was about 650 miles. Liverpool to Monmouth to London to Barnard Castle to Liverpool. Departed 4am, got back home at 11pm with about 1 hour at each site. Still about twice as quick as public transport and half the cost.

My longest regular commute was the 6 months I spend doing the 230 miles each way from Liverpool to Bexley Heath (Monday out, Friday return) - again, it was quicker/cheaper than the train.

did you have a break every 2.5 hours and did you have the next day off to recover?

No, as I was driving as a private driver in a private vehicle - although I did have to stop for petrol now & then.

Yes, it was a Saturday.

55 mile round trip for me, been doing it everyday for 5 years and in the Z for just over a year. Can be quite relaxing!

I have a 7 mile commute each way... Find traffic so frustrating, that 4 months ago started riding my bike to work, and turns out riding at peak hour is soo much more enjoyable. Since then the Z4 has gone from daily Driver to being used mostly on nights/ weekends, and the occasional morning when im too lazy to ride.

Would a beer run count? Cause I've been working on getting a reservation for some Trappist Westvleteren.....
