Long Beach/California -Z4 meetup group

I have setup a new Z4 meetup or club for the LA - Long Beach - Orange County area. Our first meeting is on Saturday November 17th @ 9:30am. We'll start with coffee and then drive down to Newport on Laguna Beach for Brunch. Since this is our first meeting I need to get a feel about what we are going to be doing in later meetings. I will slowly start introducing new places to explore in Southern California.

Aw Jason, I'd love to join the group but will be out of the country on vacation that week. IMZ4N has been our "fearless leader" and super knowledgeable about SoCal, NorCal...ok all Cali roads. He's also our boyscout but I'll let him explain why. We've got a great group in SoCal...been meeting for cruises for over a year now. I'm sure you'll get some takers.

You might want to combine forces with the SoCalZs. We're already established and doing runs like this every other month.

Unless there is that much demand for 2 Z4car clubs in Long Beach/LA/OC?

Anyway, have fun! I can't make it but come out and join us December 1 at SoCalZ's next run.

That's cool!!! So far I have 2 members joined the group with two attending since yesterday. You're welcome join our group but you don't have to attend that way you'll be notified on our future meetups! just go to http://bmw.meetup.com/102/?gj=sj9 to join.

I am not sure about the demand in my area yet... combine forces is an excellent idea!! But I still have to gage the demand. Where are you located? and how would someone get notified?

First off Welcome to the forum.

We do have a group in SoCal. The group comes together from Simi Valley to Plam Springs and from the beaches to Las Vegas.If all were ever get together at any one time there would be over 75 cars. :o :driving:

I network with three clubs in SoCal, one in San Diego, one in LA and one in San Francisco. It just so happens that the title of ZSCCA SoCal area rep has been bestowed upon me. OK,OK, I volenterred. Our group is open to all Z makes and models ( Z1,Z3,Z4 and Z8). If you send me an e-mail to [email protected], I will place you in my notifican folder and I then send an e-mail out as a one time notice of an event, blind copy.

I will come out for your meet in Long Beach. Check in the meets and events for future gatherings here.

Hmm, wow. Ok, we have other plans that day, but we will be in the San Pedro area and maybe can stop over to see this new club. :driving:
 
That would be awesome "Cool Z4" I already have 7 people confirmed coming already. We are going to be around until about 10am before we take off. It would be cool if join our group for future meetings notifications at http://bmw.meetup.com/102/ .. that way we get more people encouraged!!
