Looks interesting, anyone fancy giving it a go? I know where quite a few of these tunnels are, I'm sure others will know some and we could put an early Sunday morning run together?

Also know where lots of these are, would be fun once my exhaust is done for the extra volume. The one at 0:20 and 0:30-33 is right by my office, cycle down it every day :)

Pretty sure Jembo went to something like this last year - IIRC correctly he thought it was suspiciously over-policed with coppers videoing the cars and quite a lot of the attendees... Did not have much in common with his usual social circle :D

i have done these in the past when i had my loud jap car. but they are not what the video shows  too many people go now so you are lucky to even get into the tunnel. traffic is really bad and most of the time you cant even open it up to make a noise so just sit in the tunnel revving. you are better off doing one weekend just Z4's

Yes that was what I was thinking, I suspected the bigger planned ones would be mobbed and attract attention from the boys in blue...

How sad is that - looking for a tunnel to get your rocks off!... :tumbleweed:

Forum runs always take in a tunnel where possible.

You've obviously never tried it :poke:

Mind you with a 2.0i there won't be much difference.

Which reminds me - must organise a mountain run again, tunnels in there are something else (the smaller ones, not the heavily speed checked Swiss ones).

Mind you, living in east Sussex - a tunnel is probably more exciting than any of your local roads!
