Hi everyone,
Ive been lurking for a month or two as I've been thinking of owning a z4, finally its time to show my face.
A quick bio: Im masters student at the royal college of arts studying vehicle design, i did my BA in automotive design. During which i bought and sold cars to indulge and fund my studies. Mostly japenese so, s2000s, rx7s, 350zs, and mx5s etc. But this is my first german machine.
If anyone reads EVO you might have seen me in last months issue with my design taking the win in a design contest they issued us. plug plug plug
The car. Lovely bit of kit very comfortable and one of the best standard driving positions for my lanky 6,4 frame. A friend of mine found a car with a hard top at an auction which was at a price i amply couldn't pass up.
The only little niggle i have with the car is the diff, i feel the 3.0 could really have benefitted, but ill soon get used to it. My favourite part has to be the interior, it has aged perfectly it looks as current as any modern car in my opinion.
I do have plans to modify the car slightly. My history does say that once i start i cannot stop, but I'm happy with what is a nice comfortable car, thats fits into the sw3 backdrop nicely.
I took a trip down to newquay to catch up with the folks, and made use of the cleaning gear while there
