I know some cracking roads around M40 Jct 2-3. There's also some hump backed canal bridges to avoid. We don't want to be banging sumps!

I'm in. I won't be able to do valentine's day weekend (Feb 12-13) as for one I have weekend duty for work and a G/F. All the rest of the dates I'm ok, I'd prefer a Sunday because it makes traveling to and from easier on me. On that note, if we did Saturday does the congestion charge apply or is that just M-F?

Guys, I know roughly where the Crown in Penn is. I can plot a decent route from there, round the back roads, free of traffic, cameras and hump backed bridges. Ending up near A40 Jct 1 London bound. Any volunteers to take it from there? I've enjoyed early morning Central London drives on my own with clear roads. Between 10am and 10pm, traffic is limiting, even on a Sunday. Aside from deciding the day, is this an early morning or night run?

Any volunteers to contribute with the route, PM me.

How about meeting at the large Sainsburys near Richmond/Sheen direction. I know some good roads out into the country side from there. Would it be better to stay away from central London? The list is looking good

We still need to arrange an area to meet in, and then go down to Ace - and then off from there - so shall we say a 10am meet time and how about we meet at the back of Berry in Brentford (the BMW dealer on the A4/Great West Road) as there are a few empty warehouse units to the rear with lots of parking outside...

If we can get the Ace Cafe lined up (I have arranged other meets there for the RRS Forum) then we can look under each others skirts and have a drink, and then head off on our road trip to include lunch in Beaconsfield/Penn, and with a bit of luck be done by 2ish.

How does that sound?
