Apologies for the poor quality photos - looking forward to seeing plenty more posted!

I'm going to consider planning a proper central London meet, early on a Sunday morning ....take in the embankment, Kings Road, Tower Bridge....perhaps meet at Ace Cafe...

Maybe 6 cars or so.....it's a London Thing!

Thanks for all the great pics of today :driving:

Would depend how early "early is", bearing in mind you were up at 6am this morning - which was really 5am! :)

Hi all, was great to see you all today, I hope you liked the Red Lyon, the cars looked great on the paddock, I've used your pics and added them to the Red Lyon page on Facebook, I hope thats ok.

I will add a few to the website too during the week.

Again, thanks for coming over and hope you were happy enough to come again in the Summer.

Dave

PS: Well organised Nick, these can be a major headache. :D

I know some good London routes if you want a hand planning..?

Was a great day, really glad I came along!

Sunburn looks ridiculous though!

I would definitely be up for that Nickm - if you can wait until May for my exams to be finished, and I'd need a little notice to shift oncalls around too...

Plan coming together  I know you only want 6 cars or so, but I would totally be up for this, no matter how early. Embankment underpasses with the top down and empty roads ? Perfect :driving: wonder if they'd let us park outside Buckingham Palace for a photo shoot ? :D Make it any weekend after 6th of May and I am in  ...I'd have to go all the way through London to actually get to Ace Cafe though

Looks like a great day. Will def try and make the next one or a mini central London meet.

I just got immediately enthusiastic  I love driving through London, even though the traffic is sh1t mostly, and a few Zs on quiet roads on a sunny summer morning appeals massively. I am also gutted I couldn't make this meet...

Well watch this space. Sorry to say, that it needs to be small, with about 6 cars. We can't afford to lose cars etc...hope you all understand. My only pre requisite is that I want another E89 there too! 8)

+1 for cheers & thanks to Nick for leading the scurmish, made it to the pub though had to leave before most arrived.

Another thanks to Kirsty for lending me a pair of sunnies that were passed, errr well lobbed in moving traffic. Left them with John, trust he did the honours & returned them.

So Londoners... since a couple of the Kent posse came to visit, you.ll have to all fill your tanks & come for a cruize one weekend in Kent

Safe jnys

Thanks all for a fun day, even without my car... was good to have someone to chat to in the traffic :P - was nice to catch up with a few people and meet a few new ones.

Ref London AM meet, if you're kicking off at 5am, does that mean you'll be meeting at 3:30? :poke:

I could have etched the F1 and still made it on time today!

Nik, thanks for instigating and "organising".

Steve, thanks for stirring the route plan, although it was a bit like a treasure hunt scrabble once we cleared the traffic - very impressed everyone made it to the lunch stop!

Glad you all had a good day. Some great photos folks. You had perfect weather for the day

Did the much talked about 'White E89 35i vs M' drag race occur at any point during the day? :fuelfire:
