Might be up for it, liverpool street is a ten minute drive from my house but it depends how early and how hanging I am lol
 
Not overtaken it but just trying to steer it in his absence......its a week tomorrow.....

Trying to see if we can get 15 cars, but more importantly someone to steer us through London....I know a certain part but not the city part particularly well or areas to park up in
 
Would have love to join you this weekend guys....however....the Mrs is due our 2nd child - I think she would get upset if I buggered off into london with the M! :x

Dead keen on this meet as there should be some good photo opportunities and an Ace Cafe fry up won't go amiss. :D
Also a chance to meet some new and old forumites. :thumbsup:
 
Sorry been in and out the country.
I'm not sure where the 2nd of November came from, I never suggested then as I possibly can't make it then (not sure yet).
Was just throwing the idea out to see if people are interested and it looks like they are.
Routes easy to sort, won't be before 9am tho as A. It's Dark, and B. Iv got to go to church (lol) ;-)
Sunday in the city (square mile) these no traffic, nothing open. End will have to be the ACE CAFE, and they will have to be notified. Maybe they can reserve us space for 8-10 cars?

We just threw the date out there as sooner rather than later, but if it's a 9am start then I'm out asI was hoping for an early start as the roads will be empty and even when it's dark it would have been good.....but if this date or time doesn't work, then that's fine too. Another time perhaps.
 
Well this has all gone tits up.
Was hoping for a drive out as I've not got many free Sundays before Xmas.
I agree with Stark that an early start would of been good......anyone else know the area and still up for this Sunday?
 
I'd still be up for Sunday if we can get 5-10 cars together.....but yes an early start is the best for me and we could get into Ace without having to book too.....
 
Pity I'm not nearer to you otherwise I would. I work in the City a lot and it would be nice to cruise around when nobody is there.

I did it a few years ago when i was staying with a mate who had some German friends of ours over in the UK. We spent a couple of hours in the City on a Sunday am before a high-speed dash back up the M11 to Stansted to drop them off for their flight home.

That's a shame.
Although I'm a "Londoner" I never drive into the city always using Public Transport.
Hopefully someone who has a knowledge of the roads will step up. :thumbsup:

The roads should still be quiet at 7am-ish. I know the roads but it's just difficult stopping at a few meeting points in London with space for 10 or so cars. The more central you are, the harder that becomes.

Well I'm definitely up for this Sunday...will probably head down on my own if not enough interest.

Will be good if you can make it Sunday Conquistador coz I'm an absolute arse at finding my way around anywhere.

Hope ESP doesn't mind us continuing this on his thread.
