London Meet - 27/02/2011

Thanks guys...much appreciated...luckily vets are open in the morning, so will be better taking him in...he's peacefully at home right now...

Unfortunately chaps I'm going to have to bail out.

Many apologies to the guys organising, but circumstances have conspired against me I'm afraid.

Hope you all have a superb day and that the sun shines on you all.

Nige.

Sorry to hear that Nick :(

I'm afraid I can't make it either, the cars engine is just getting worse so can't risk it. Also the paint has started falling off the wheels, I'm guessing it had a poor refurb before I bought it

Have a great day everyone :)

Guys, been a little hectic these past few days so haven't been up to track on top of that I just finished a 24 hour shift! If someone could print the first page then that would be great.... my printer has no ink.

Bed time.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Just woke up an hour after I set my alarm... Damn weekday only function :x

I'll print a copy of the front page...

hope your all having a good day, pics ASAP

the only race is who can be the first to post a pic

Well now that was a disaster! Man such a stupid mistake...caught the rear on the kerb trying to dart across the road to the meet. Need more coffee. Gutted that I had to miss this meet, the car didn't even get warmed up
Here's my alloy OH BUGGER:

Man oh man. First and only time I've hit anything and it had to be today. I'm guessing it's gonna be new wheel, tyre and alignment. Shizenhausen

Tj - Ouch !

I hope the weather is kinder down south than here in Notts. It's absolutely p***** it down all morning. Only now starting to brighten up.

Tim sorry mate, really really - we were mising you and wondered what happened - just on my way back, called off from the second part of the trip due to obligations, all was good although we got lost and half of us ended in different parts of windsor..but all good. Pics of the car park were great.....will post one or two in a min...

Have been working all day so couldn't make this. Sounds like I missed a good one and looking forwards to seeing the pics.
TJ - nasty wheel incident mate.

Great turn out - 24 cars - these at the pub car park....some great pics to follow I'm sure...

Quick sorry to PVR, Gannet, Daveg, CJ10Jeeper and Flimper for taking them down the muddiest lane in the UK

I blame the TomTom, well if it's a good enough escuse for Ben :poke:

Yes not a great start and a real shame I didn't get to make the lunch with you all as id been looking forward to this all week! Thankfully I've managed to source a genuine replacement wheel from a guy who lives locally and talked him into bringing over tonight. Fingers crossed she'll be back on the road tomorrow!

If you mean the muddy lane just out of the pub I took that too while you were having your lunch and cleared a path through the mud for you.

Hi Nick, just got back to Newbury - we went all the way to Tiddington with the last groups of 6 or 7 cars, shame the rain got worse, single track was dodgy run.. but the lunch was good. Nice to meet everyone..... I'd like to offer to organise a trip out this way in the sticks in Berks with runs between Newbury-Wantage, Wantage-Hungerford with a possible photo shoot in fronr of Littlecote House (The Historic entrance) then lunch at a nice pub, with trip south to Burbage then out to Malborough, back up through Lechlade and up to Burford then back across to Oxford M40 end. or something like that. Could organise it after the HAMPSHIRE run you mentioned. Could you send me the link to the HAMPSHIRE run as I'd love a fast blast ....... cheers Wayne and Vikki (Silver MC) :driving:
