Just googled it... seems like something for tom tom or garmin users... can export the google map to this file format to load directions into these portable sat navs......

Ok.. new challenge.. hack this to get it to work on the BMW nav!
 
Thanks gannet, that seems to do TomTom's only though.

srhutch, I just downloaded the application and setup a test route, it's on my Navigon to test tonight, going home. When you get the route sorted could you do a second export as a Navigon MN 7 file? There's a drink in it for you :wink:
 
Aebous, yeah, that runs on the same file I'm after... although if I'm behind you I'll put the roof down and follow the screams :lol:

Not to go off topic any further, but very impressed with the Navigon software :thumbsup:
 
I'll be leading by the seat of my pants....but if one of you want to take up the mid section....gentle and leisurely and maybe push on a bit on the motorway if the roads are clear....

X2, Navigon has been so well that I'm seriously considering purchasing the actual GPS unit as opposed to just the Iphone app.

She might not be screaming, but it's entirely possible I'll make her nauseated. I told her to bring her own bag just in case.
 
Map updated (although image link looks the same). Point H (lunch location) has moved a little north after getting the exact address of where we're going.
 
Peddy, the route doubles back after lunch on your map, the files I generated don't, can you double check and advise.
 
Just looking at the route, we will probably join you near to Virginia Water as you come past our neck of the woods. I'll be on the lookout for the white E89 doing 120 :D Also, does anyone know if there are speed cameras on the Windsor Great Park stretch still?

Your route is right... I couldn't get it to go striaght up to the A404 for some reason. :idunno:
 
Berry don't open until 11am but if they are there earlier, they will let us in.....
 
Please can I join the squad on Sunday? I've got a silver Z4M coupe, will have a beer at the pub, if numbers are limited on lunch....

Is it possible to download the route to Tom Tom via a link somewhere? Is it using the LINK in the top right corner of Google maps as you describe as never done this before?

Wayne no worries....as for download? No idea!! I'll cram the route on the night before!!
 
cheers looking forward to it.... trip to get the car cleaned and detailed on sat.... should be fun..
