London Meet - 27/02/2011

Lunch will change to 35 - no need to split the group. Guys from here who have been on Peppermints runs know we can do it with 50 cars.....one of us will stay in the middle who also knows the route will be fine.....let's just wing it and enjoy it....no short sleeve shirts and pen in pockets please!!!

Just a one off side step from the thread, if anyone wants to come to the Geneva motorshow, me and a few mates going, on the 4th, flights on £100 from Heathrow on Swiss...got VIP passes for Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati and Land Rover......let me know....

Absolutely, if everyone turns up it will be an amusing day out. No idea how we keep the group together- police escort perhaps? Anyone got Jordan's number ;)

Given the fact that the route is published in the thread I think it is very likely that you will have a police escort.

I know I part-organised this and created the route, but I have no faith in leading the group... I'll probably be worse than Playistic as my car's not even pink.

One thing that would be really cool i reckon is to take up all 5 lanes on the M25 for a short period and some passangers take a few pics.

I'd be happy to lead the group, but I might not be that sympathetic in letting people catch up - thats why if we have someone in the middle of the group to keep people together, that would be great - ok ok I'll go easy on the zooming off.....and at least I know where most of the speed cameras are in the area - so am happy to be the 'white' knight, even though I'm darker than a bangladeshi's ar** ho** :P

What's all this pink nonsense getting spouted around!!! Jeez I'm gone for five mins and this is what I come back to :)

Happy for nickm to lead, so long as there isn't a fortnum and masons on the route as he is known to get sidetracked for the foie gras and caviar. Home Jeeves!!!

I'll make sure I stop for some jellied eels for yer mate - you hammers boys like a bit of pie and mash too....although I can't guarantee I can arrange a sheep to shag, or your second cousin along the way you country bumkin....

PS - anyone coming from oop north, we don't take Scottish money down ere......

I think given the time of the meet it's not going to be a "progressive" drive , theres too much traffic in the south east at that time. Happy enough just driving about with a bunch of like minded zed fans with a spot of lunch. Save the heroics for a track meet :)

Hey nickm. your lordship can you pm me some more details on the Geneva trip eg. cost , date , no of days , hotel if more than a day etc .

I got a Birthday coming up and the misses keeps nagging me about what i want, so could get a nice trip out of her instead on another pair of socks......

Mate we are just doing a day trip...7am flight from Heathrow, and 1520 return...the show is at the airport so no travelling needed. We figured 5 hours at the show was more than enough......flight was £100.99 on the Swiss website.....

Flight is booked looking forward to it and the misses payed for it for my birthday. :) extra cudles for her tonight :bonk:

35 cars :o :D

how many did we have on the 'world of water' meet - only asking cos we managed to get that one nicely separated
