as for the route, I had a look in PH for good roads in the area, and found this route

Agree, but it does look like a good route.... We could meet at Berry, head down to lunch (I'd rather avoid the M40 though as it'll be a little boring no?), then through that route down through windsor ways and back to berry on the A4?

Changed it to go to Windsor areas first with a stop for some photo opportunities there. Then head down to Beaconsfield for lunch and then continue the route through to Tiddington. From there London/Kent people can head down the M40 and other westerly people can head up the M40.

Google optimistically suggests 2h43m for the entire route, with photo stops and lunch we'd probably be looking at around 5-6 hours to teddington.

I quite like that route... whats sort of start time are we lookin at? Unless something major comes up i'm free to come along now; but will most likely head off early.
