London Meet 25th March - Posting Closed

On the back of a pretty good 'Carry on Z4' type of meet last year, with a great turn out, as below

Am hoping we can arrange another outing next Month or in March..maybe a Sunday again.....

Someone to plan a route and lead this time would be great :thumbsup:

DETAILS OF THE DAY

Meet time is 9.30 am at Berrys which is on the A4, in Brentford. The Post code of the site is TW8 9DD. We should leave by about 11, and head out onto the A40 via Hanger Lane and the North Circular.

Then onto a place called Denham Country Park or Black Park, to be confirmwd.....wood land, and a nice part of the country. Then onto Beaconsfield for lunch that will be at the Crown on the Penn Road at 1.30 pm, for a Sunday Roast. The postcode of the pub is HP10 8NY

The route will take in some great roads and a pit stops at the Red Lyon in Hurley, nearish to Henley, post code is SL6 5LH after which we finish off in Marlow, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel , post code is SL7 1GJ

So we have a start, a middle and an end...

March better for me too - though not because my car's tucked away like srhutch's :wink:

If I can sneak away from my rugby coaching one Sunday morning then I'm in.
 
Ok, from initial feedback, let's set it for March....will be a little lighter and hopefully Spring will have kicked in!!

The pic was taken in a pub car park in Beaconsfield.

We met last year in West London, but quickly found we hit traffic immediately, so this time we will meet close to the A40 so we can head out westwards towards the M40 and beyond!

March could work well for me too. Shame its not south or east London but if I can make it I'll go with the western majority :poke:

Didn't like to be rude, still being a relative newbie and all, but I'm with inkey$ on this... Happy to go wherever though :wink:

the meeting point for the last one was pretty good... near heathrow so easy access to people from the south and north...

But this is a London meet...... i dont recognize anything outside of the BT 020 number region :poke: :P
 
Then you should confine your driving to the 020 number region :poke: Good luck with that :)

I work for BT, so perhaps I'll arrange non-geographic numbers for everyone that start 020 :lol:

(just to be clear, I know nothing about residential services :wink: )

Last year when stuck on traffic on the M4 or M40 (cant remember which) sure felt like we had confined our driving to the 020 region only :roll:
 
We will still keep with the meeting point as before, but arrange a second pit stop for us all to regroup on our way out to the A40/M40

I'll set up a poll for dates etc, but for now, it's 4,11, 18 or 25th.....

We have plenty of time to organise it.....
 
Sounds great - travelling a lot with work in March, but hope to make it. Will keep listening for dates.
