London commuters

Have you tried the commuting websites like commute to? Put in your destination and desired travel time and it will suggest places that meet that target and give you an idea of how regular the service is. We had been thinking along the same lines but we're thinking of staying in town a bit longer as we still like to go out and it's just easier! My commute is literally 5 mins walk at the moment so I'm in no rush to move!

Thanks for all the suggesitons. I'll give this website ago.

Funnily enough Richmond was the only place on my list within the London area, but despite assurances to the contrary we have been scared off by the flight path, hence the wider search.

If the flight path is a worry try Teddington, no planes there and similar setup to Richmond with the same links to Waterloo. Only a stop or two further...

Yep, but by the looks of it the houses actually cost more in Teddington than in Richmond, there are no fast trains, and no tube.
