Tell me this isn't someone on here...Rubbish advert and "Best in the country" for a Cat D at a price competitive with straight ones!

I think this car has been discussed before on there or somewhere
terrible advert
and yes CAT D might not be an issue if all the before and after shots are available and paperwork for the repairs are available.
otherwise - overpriced, even with the mileage

If its the same car I'm thinking of.....The previous owner (before this guy) was on here quite a lot, he bought some //M seat leather seat covers off me...

Saw the car in the flesh, just after it had been detailed, and it looked awesome, totally immaculate.

Having talked to him, sounded like it had been a light cat D, and had been repaired well using only brand new OEM parts...

Price seems a little high tho, sure he had it advertised on here a while ago for a lot less than £19k!

Aplogies in advance to anyone on here who has one like that, but I just don't get the black on black look. Especially matt black. Maybe I'm getting too old too young to appreciate such stuff.

As said above, no effort to punctuate or run the spell checker through your advert doesn't really show your car off to its best. Makes me assume if they'll put that littled effort into writing a paragraph of text to sell it then they probably don't spend much more time looking after or taking care of the car!
 
Thats got to have quite some damage to be classed as a CAT D though :o Not exactly a scratched bumper :rofl:

Not always, some insurance policies will provide you with a new car for even a small claim in the first year resulting in a CAT D status.
 
Oh really? New one on me! Totally ruins the history though, well unless you can prove everything I spose

I'm sure it's a lovely car, but why the advertiser decided to put the 'best coupe in country' b.s. headline on his advert, and then back it up with the brilliant sales pitch of 'too much to list' is beyond me. :headbang:

At the end of the day, I suppose it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I wonder what it'll go go for, what damage it really sustained and subsequently, what level it was repaired to...
 
Well overpriced z,given its status.

As for the 205 gti. lovely car/great nick,and probably is worth the asking £,imo. :thumbsup:
 
Classic cars are appreciating. My MKI Golf Clipper which is a 1993 (one of the last 100 made) is worth more now then when new. Every year my insured value is increased and every MOT, the dealer wants to buy it as it is in perfect condition.

Nope, i'm 24 and i agree. Hate black on black. you need contrast in colours.

It did look good detailed, the guys off detailingworld and is very good.
