Locking wheel nuts problem now

Rookie mistake bought car with locking wheel nuts and no key.
It gets worse friends I have 2 different types 1 external and 3 internal.
Which are genuine if any and can I go to bmw and see if they can match them up?
I contacted owner and she didn’t have the key but she’d search again ans she told me she’d had new tyres fitted,
What type of Micky mouse tyre place would do this without informing the customer.

I believe the one in the first pic is a BMW one so you should be able to get that sorted.
The other one? Not sure.
Have you had a good rummage round by the battery to see if it's fallen out of the tool bag?

Any garage will be able to get these off for you. Either source non locking replacements or buy another set of locking wheel nuts.

Yep, any tyre place will get them off for you. I bought Febi replacements for my car.

indeed, bin off the lockers asap, way more hassle than they're worth. just get standard bolts on in their place, then no more worries about either overtightening them and shearing them, or losing the key.

Bugger,I was going to take my car to Elite’s in Rainham Essex before I left for France but didn’t have time, they would have noticed the broken front anti roll bar bracket also.
Oh and what tool kit? That went walkies as well 🤣

All out, bashed on undersized sockets and Milwaukee impact power😉

Haven't you heard of the 7 P's? :D :D :D

(Prior Planning and Preparation Prevents P**s Poor Performance)

Seriously though, if you haven't got on to reassembly yet................
When it comes to refitting the plastic caps over the LH thread screws, bin the long nosed pliers.
Get yourself a socket the same diameter as the plastic cap.
Bit of grease or vaseline and stick the cap to the socket.
Offer it up nice and square, then use either a big screwdriver or another suitable lever to push the socket fully into the recess.
Far easier than faffing about with pliers trying to line it up and overcome the resistance of the o-ring seal.

Saves you having to milk it too.

I did actually order the kit in England, but dhl stuffed up delivery damaging box in the process so unfortunately had to leave without it,I’ve watched enough YouTube videos so now I’m an expert but thanks for the extra tips .I’ve always got Betsy the BFH if all else fails 😉
