Locking wheel bolts

I'm needing to buy some longer locking wheel bolts, 35mm I think. Plenty out there for sale but I was wondering if anyone out there has bought any and which make they went for ? Are some good and some crap ?

Locking wheel are all junk in my opinion. A 5lb hammer and standard socket slammed over them, will work every time.

The above tactic works on cheaper locks, but not on ones with rotating rings.
I fitted a set of these...

spot on, you can actually buy a socket to hammer over them and undo them. When did you last hear about anuyone having wheels nicked? never in my experience.

I had the reverse problem of a puncture (not on the E89), on the way to the airport, thought, emergency wheel no problem, could I get the f$%&ing wheel bolt off..using the roadside tool kit it was impossible, took the local garage 2 hours to drill it off subsequently..

So I have no locking wheel bolts on any of my cars...if you want to pinch the wheels, feel free!

Its still happening in East Sussex, saw a 4x4 on bricks last week and it was parked by a main road outside a gym with cctv :o

I think a lot of it is about buying time with locking nuts. There’s more chance of them being disturbed if it’s going to take a few minutes longer and create noise.
