locking itself

Not a major problem but intriguing why it happens - keep my 3.0 in the garage unlocked - twice now over the past month or so I've gone out to the garage and found it locked - certainly didn't deliberately lock it and pretty sure didn't press the inside button ( with hood down ) . No real problem as just use the key fob to unlock. I suppose could be if I'd left the keys in but even I wouldn't be that daft ????

Anyone else experienced same ?

Mine auto locks if I don't open the door after an unlock.

To prevent it, I just open and close a door and the car will remain unlocked.

Could be the case - because I don't use it every day and leave it in the garage with hood down a lot of the time I start it every few days to keep it sweet - I sometimes just reach over and start it without opening the door. Modern cars are so complex .

I did wonder whether the Dark Forces had come into play or may be the key fob actvated if I accidently pressed it from within the house and the signal travelled 50 ft through three brick walls or even next door's cat crept in the garage when I wasn't looking !
