Lock nuts

Just replaced the wheels on the E86 and was wondering whether to replace the BMW lock nuts which are real easy to take out (with or without key), with something like this: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/BLACK-ALLOY-WHEEL-LOCKING-BOLTS-FOR-BMW-Z1-Z3-Z4-Z4M-M-ROADSTER-SECURE-NUT-HB6-/360744339991?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item53fe09ca17

Anyone have any feedback on something like that?

Couple of thoughts, what's wrong with the security of the originals? I've never heard of anybody having their wheels pinched with them fitted and several forum members have struggled to have them removed when they lost their key. And are these ebay jobs any good, strength wise and in security? I'd have thought you could whack something on the end quite easily to shift one.

They're identical for all modern bmw's

personally I would only go for a set of mcgard security bolts.

When you say 'identical' not as in all have the same pattern of key? I'm no wheel-bolt anorak but do know there are multiple patterns (I think someone mentioned 30 before?). Anyway, buying unbranded, uncertified wheel bolts off ebay with nice grippy tops for removal doesn't seem sensible, the Mcgard items you mention look a better idea
