Locate Light level Sensor

Just got a call from the garage who are doing a service on my E85 - apparently I need a new light level sensor as the old one is held on with a cable tie and in their opinion is probably not sitting quite where it should be leading to probably non optimal adjustment.

I'll obviously have a look in the region of the light areas when the car gets home tonight to try and suss if I can get away with just a new bracket or a whole sensor - but does anyone know where this sensor is located? And is there one for each side?

I think it’s on the r/h side where the wishbone joins the chassis area, just the one

Front right and rear left on the e89. Guessing the e85 won't be too dissimilar.

Yep. It's a black box that joins the front right wishbone from above. You'll see it has a small Bush and probably snapped off the small bracket. It can't be repaired and about £90 for a new unit.

There are two on the e85
Rear right and guessing front right.
My rear one is broken so that a job for later.

I got a pattern part off eBay for £20
