Loan me your Zed for the day ?

Anyone ever loan their Zed to their kid to take a driver's test in ?
Over here the driver's lic. is graduated into 3 'levels' ..
Daughter is taking her final test which leads to unrestricted use of all highways.
So the car she used last time ..A Chev Malibu (medium sized sedan)
Has the steering geometry of an ocean liner !
Worse than numb. OK in a straight line. Just don't try to turn a corner !
Parking ? Forget about that ..Better to just stop and walk.
The last GM car I will ever have but ..Like a bad stink, it just hangs around seemingly forever.

So I'm offering up the Zed ...
She's concerned how the Driving inspector might react to that ?
At least parking won't be an issue.
Plus I have 2 extra sets of rims just in case the parking goes horribly wrong.

Any other Dads or Mums on here faced a similar dilemma ?

p.s. my children are of an age that they passed their test long before the Z, and I suspect she will be gone before the grandchildren of age, but in case she isn't .......

I would never allow this

1) It's possible the tester will consider more carefully allowing a pass to someone is a low high powered sports car than a 'normal' saloon car. In the UK it's perceived as harder to pass any test in a private car than a driving school car as it implies less quality training.

2) Young drivers should experience the road and get some miles under their belt before driving performance cars.

She's my 'kid'
but at 26 and a practicing Lawyer she is far from being an irresponsible teenager.

Looks like she prefers the Malibu this time.
Her choice.
