I've bought a few items recently from forum members and with one thing and another I haven't had chance to say thanks so thought I would do so publicly with a few photo's. Oh and a Q at the bottom.

Firstly, a big THANK YOU to one of the well known members..... Mr Wilks for these lovely, made to order refurbed 108's with Silver outers and Anthracite satin finish stars. Thanks for being such a gent to deal with. It was a pleasure coming up to see you and I hope we'll meet again soon!

Next thank you goes to Kermit1970 for these as new red leather gaitors!

Thanks to JayT for the third brake light! Back end looks much better with this fixed.

Larsbjerreguard kindly sent me a double Vanos seal kit which is being fitted on Monday. This Kit was made in Sheffield, sent to Lars in Denmark and it came all the way back to Sheffield! . Lars also kindly included a surprise in the kit of two LED lights for the interior. No idea where they're meant to go though Lars so any pointers would be great. Thanks again chief

And finally to Rickybobby who has just sold me a Stormworks 5 speed for my Dad's Z3,.

Thanks again to all of you. I'm not had an ouce of stress or complaint with any of you! Great set of lads!

And now for my question...... Can you lend me your thoughts on these as I'm not sure which one to buy tbh?

No painting required just going to leave black.

Has anyone bought one and if so any advice?

Thanks

Pat

Forum at it's best

Regarding the splitter many have fitted the Seat Leon one. Don't know how it compares price wise.

I have a feeling one of those you posted might look like gloss black MDF when fitted if it's the same as one I've seen fitted to a Z4.

Car look's great Pat & of course a pleasure to meet you .
I was genuinely Impressed with your Z passion ( the BBK esp  ) & not trying to spend your money but in case you haven't spotted it in the FS section there' is a cracking Imola M roady up for sale with some nice tweaks i know you would approve of & a price that would suit your "Yorkshireness" :D
best wishes

That was my worry so the CSR whilst twice the money looked the better option.

Any idea which Leon model it's for.? Anyone got any fitted pic's??

Yorkshireness!!!!!!! :x you've got a point though. can't see the car though. Probably a good job tbh, misses would have my balls if I started this again!!! Ha

Just spent the money with you and the other guys, £360 on track tyres (federal rsr's), £144 on new track pads and c£1000 on hood & other repairs. She's not happy! Haha the track day at Spa is going to be worth it though!

Hi Si,

Thanks for this. Looks well tbf.

Did it add any front end grip though? I track my Z so hence I'm actually looking for it to add some handling benefit rather than just looking lower.

Thanks

Your Zed looks spot on, those wheels have made it look great.

How wasy was it to fit the gaiters?

Ash

Ha thanks for the pic though mate. You're right though definitely looks good!

Thanks Ash and Kermit. Just need Monkey's gear knob and handbrake lever to finish it off. :fuelfire: :poke: :D

Pretty easy fit tbh. Just make sure to take your time if your thinking of doing it.

Cut the old ones off, clean up the surface of the plastic moulds. Dry fit the new ones so you can see how the edges line up and go for it. Just remember slowly slowly... Oh and don't forget to stretch the leather on the handbrake/armrest section otherwise it'll sag as time goes by.

Thanks again for these Kermit. Proper gent!

TWINS!! Got the red leather as well, just need the wheels done!

:o Wow! THERE IS someone out there as good looking! :?

Speak to Mr Wilks for the wheels. Does a great job, excellent value and damn good bloke.

I love the green roof we have. Not many put there and it works well with the sterling silver.

Yeah im trying to decide on a wheel colour and then ill be in touch with him,Shadow chrome is on my mind ATM,.....and i hope you meant grey roof not green!! :) i spent 2 hours cleaning that bugger up ( it was green before i started!!)

Ummmmm yeah....grey....sure...that's what I meant, :tumbleweed: ha. In fairness they look similar as mine is green but looks close to your grey as it needs retreating. Ha.

Shadow chrome will look well.

I've got to add a new thank you to this thread and this time it goes to none other than the great....Machine Monkey himself!

This is my first MM addition to the car and I'm loving the quality of his work. I think these touches really set off the interior.

Thanks Monkey
