I've had my car for over a week now

It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it (nearly)

My other motor is a Navara twin cab pick up (I need it for carrying trials bikes)

I've also had numerous motorcycles

When I stop at lights or junctions either with a bike or the pick up carrying bikes

I used to get a  from "teenagers" and a shout of "Nice Bike" or "Cool Truck"

Last night in the Beemer, an exceptionial night in Bonny Scotland (it did'nt rain)

Driving through Forfar, I stopped at some traffic lights, of course with the hood down :D

When two spotty git's called me a "Poof" :? Moi a "Poof" :o

Before the light changed I had to endure even more profanities :poke:

Now I'm a man of the world and dont get upset to easy these days

But it did kinda hurt a little

So much so, instead of ignoring them, I let myself down, and lowered to thier level

One was a "Ginger" and the other a thoothless "Junky" :?

And what your imagining I said :o I did

But they did'nt take it well

And a not so good altercation could have taken place :headbang:

So a hastey retreat was in order

It spoiled what should have been an enjoyable drive :driving:

How would you have reacted to unnecessary remarks ?

It's pure & simply jealousy. I've had no one be nasty yet - although being in a coupe I probably just can't hear them ;-)

No doubt you work hard for your toys, and think we're all entitled to snap once in a while

Weather looks good all over the country today, so get the top down, put some Kylie on, and go cruising Mr Tourette!

Sticks and stones and all.... Not had it myself... But I'd prob just put the music up and made sure I beat them to the green light.

i don't think coupe owners get this, ignore it, as your title suggest - they are just sh*ts and you are better than them

You should have just thanked them for the compliment. After all, it probably means you have fine taste in rolling metal.
Or maybe you just look like Colin or Justin (well-known gay scottish interior designers)

pmsl, you should of shouted back "OY RUSTY, AT LEAST MY BOYFRIEND HAS A FULL SET OF TEETH!"

Ha... i had the same yesterday while driving through Dublin city center... i was at the traffic lights in the middle of the city... and a group of guys started heckling "Oh look, Daddy has bought me a BMW...." however... 30 minutes later, i was stuck in traffic again and a guy said "seeeeexxxxyyyyy..." as i crawled past in and his girlfriend said "him or the car..."

Now that i come to think of it... it was gay pride weekend in Dublin :o
