I can't find the part number for the little rubber cover that sits over the screw that attaches the air vent (the ones above the cup holders)

I am missing one.

It looks very much like a numberplate screw cover thingy, but they are about 3mm too fat.

Just annoying me that it is missing and it's a nightmare to find :(

I think it's one of those in the link, but no idea which, they all look wrong or too big.

Any help much appreciated :D

No 5 I think?

Just pop down to the local BMW garage, take a look around and borrow one...

as PawnSacrifice says - no 5 on that diagram...

Reminds me I need a couple to replace my knackered ones :D

Ahhhhhaaa!

Fantastic. Thanks for that.

Might have to find some other stuff I want to justify another journey out for that :D

Though I normally prefer OEM solutions, I just went out to the local DIY store and bought some black covers for Philips screws.

Looks quite OEM-ish (especially when done at both sides) and was by far a quicker solution than having to go to the stealer first to order and than having to return to pick up a couple of days later.

I went to bmw last month about this and was told they were not fitted on my car :? 06 3.0si
