All running well.
Bit weird seems easier to shift into 2nd gear, perhaps the revs hang a bit more during change.
So today plugged in obd reader and noted the valvetronic was saying what it wanted and what it had was different.
Been like that for a long time, years in fact.
Foxwell gives option to reset it. So followed instructions, basically ignition on 10 seconds then off.
Started run fine.
So went further and found "adaptive (something a other) reset".
I thought this was just for auto boxes.
So did that.
Well ebrake warning came up, brake symbol with"!" mark, then engine on reduced power warning.
Bugger, what have i done.![]()
So restarted engine couple of times, all cleared.
Cleared fault codes.
Drove car home...goes like stink.![]()
I couldn't stop putting my foot down.
In fact have to be a bit careful when i put my foot down initially in sport.
Good news, do you think it was the vanos solonoids that made the difference?
