Little net behind seats

Hello guys,

I am desperately trying to find where to buy the little net that usually sits locked by some plastic clips behind the two seats.
My Z4 has been provided without one, therefore I am trying to get one since it would be quite handy.
Does anyone know how it's called and where I can find it (new or second hand)?

Thank you

Hi, why don’t you just go to your nearest bmw dealer? I’m sure they could get it.

Just look for someone who is breaking a Z4 e89 online.

Here is a link: https://www.railwayautospares.com/oem-bmw-e89-lci-2013-z4-2-0i-6-speed-manual-wheel-nut-parts-spares-breaking-quote-290.html

Another one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-E89-SDRIVE-20I-M-SPORT-2-0-PETROL-MANUAL-2012-4X-WHEEL-NUTS-/263251215910?hash=item3d4afec626

its definitely the right code.. 51469129789 use realoem and search for net. You'll see the picture and the item matching the one above

Hi. I'm looking for the way of fitting it. Anyone can share a picture from the side area to see how it's attached?

Edit: I finally got it. Thank you. It has a couple of small pieces at the top of the guides that have to be removed first.

Hate this net! My fiancé seems to think it’s the ideal place to store make up bags, bottles of drink etc so when I go round a corner it slides to the other side crashing in to the end :headbang:

Nothing goes behind my seats!!

OMG! I've never actually seen how the net should actually be used until now - makes so much sense now I've seen it!

Me too, but it's my wife...you're not quite married yet, still time to get out!

I've always wondered what you'd hook onto the chrome loops above the net...??

They’re cargo loops for strapping down the flattened cardboard box that’s the only thing that will fit back there.

when the dog (a Retriever) occasionally comes out in my car, I attach her lead to it

My net keeps falling down!

On the few occasions it is at half mast and so sort of effective then my wife puts everything in her handbag's possession behind the net, great fun going around corners as all the detritus from the wife's handbag slides from one end to the other (messes with my OCD as well!)

Sadly it’s not load bearing so in an accident you’d have a problem.

I harness my dogs and have the harness attached to the seatbelt via a loop adaptor.
