Little help with Aux Retrofit?

Using parts from an 07 car,
I have the cover plate, the aux input and the 4 pin cable (with three wires)

But the color of my wires differ from install instructions I found,
the color of my wires are Black, Yellow and clear,

I tried following BMW retrofit guide but they mention different color wires,

My sound system specs are

Premium sound, With Nav, Sirius, and DICE using the CD changer input,

Is is possible to have Aux with all the above options?

I tried adding the 3 wires in the same place as the indicated 3 wires from the BMW info and cycling through "Mode" aux never comes up,

Does something have to be playing IN the aux mode for it to come up?
I have Aux factory installed in my other BMW and that comes up on the nav screen even without any wires plugged into it, Just checking if this is the same,
Anyone help me out?

As far as I can recall AUX should appear even if nothing is playing.

no idea what colour my wires were...

Yes, it is possible to have Aux installed and yes, it always shows on the menu even though nothing is connected to it.

Are you two sure, my 07 standard 6 speaker system would only show aux in if a source was detected.

Yep, very sure. I always have to cycle through the inputs on my nav screen to get to my Intravee, and Aux shows up and I have never had anything connected to aux. Not sure if it is different if you don't have a nav?
