Folks, it could be useful to have a list of usernames of Scotland-based folk, for PM notifying of future meets? That way nobody misses out if they don't check the forum frequently but have their PMs set up to be notified by email. If this is a crap idea, let me know :P

Please add you username and location to the list below if you want included in this (I've started it off with the names/locations I'm aware of - please let me know if you want removed from the list):

Quiet day at the office ally

Just a thought on this,
You have titled it Scottish Members, would perhaps indicate you have to be Scottish as opposed to live or based in Scotland.

Like I said just a thought

Yup :D

TBH it says Scottish Members etc as it was all I could fit in the title line! I did put the bit in brackets in too for that reason (hopefully if anyone searches for "Scottish", "Scotland" or "Meets" they'll find this thread - that's what I was trying to do...).

Works fine in search. I just typed in "Welsh owners attending Scottish meets in Scotland" and found it

good idea that man!
I wasn't thinking about you when I posted this thread up, honest

Oh, and ignoring Richard's boasting about being in Brazil - oh no, I'm not jealous. Not jealous at all. Not even fitting my winter wheels made me jealous thinking about you folk in hotter climates...

Richard may be boasting that he is in Brazil,, But his Z is in Scotland and his wife has the keys

It's worse than that.

It's actually in Eaglescliffe and my Dad has the keys :( and it now has a SORN declaration on it.

Still looking on the bright side, sitting outside the other night in shorts and a tee-shirt drinking some of Brazils finest beer (can't wait to get home) shivering in the cool night air, then looked at the street sign displaying the temp it was still 22degC, lummee I'm gonna feel it when I get home, might even have to wear a coat this year.

Add me, I'm a new recruit to the Central area. We're in the middle of moving house from Cambridgeshire back to the Stirling-ish area. So that's another coupé owner too.

Will do - whereabouts Stirling-ish? I'm on the south side of Falkirk but angling for a move into Stirling itself...

Ally,i hate to point out that Glasgow is far closer to me than Dumfries, and is on the west coast(irvine/largs area),lol :poke:

Probably Dunblane at the moment - mainly because I could walk to the station whereas in Stirling I'd have to be on the outskirts judging by most the places we've seen. The in laws are in Bridge of Allan though, so we want to be close but not too close. Up until now, Cambridge was about a good distance for me :-)

Pah, it says Ayrshire in your location so you can keep Richard company in that area on the list :P

cj_eds: Dunblane's lovely as is Bridge of Allan. I mountain-bike a LOT and Bridge of Allan is one of the best places in the UK (if not the best) for riding from your doorstep. Hence me wanting to move there! One mate's also recently moved in a new development in the Causewayhead area of Stirling (Stewart Milne Wallace Gardens) and it's a nice area. Walkable to city centre and train station, but far enough out to have space and no be silly money. And not too close to Cornton :o
