List of common faults and things to look for

Hi all

Im new here, this is my first post and im test driving a 2003 2.5 z4 tomorrow for the first time, it has around 73k miles and Fbmwsh (allegedly)
I have had 3 x z3 and am some what of an enthusiast however I know very little about z4's and wondered if you kind people can help me prepare a list of things to inspect when i view the car tomorrow

obviously i will check all the electrics works and do a visual check but what else am I looking out for please???? thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to help me

Welcome and good luck buying a z
For things to look out for, I think I'll just list all the things that were wrong with mine plus a few extras!
1) Wipers that don't park
2) Handbrake not latching properly
3) Alarm siren and interior sensor
4) leaky door membranes
5. ABS pressure sensor failure
6. Airbag light
Those were all issues with mine. Also check:
7. Rear springs
8. Soft top motor. Top should go up/down in around 8 secs
9. Check soft top drains are clear
Think that about covers most common issues!
