list of car/key memory settings for 2006 coupe?

Hi,

is there a list anywhere of the different settings you can change on the key/car?

eg my windows don't close when I hold down the lock button, and they did on my E46 M3 and E92 330. Assuming? the Z4 supports it, is that somethign the dealer needs to set?

Also is there an option for daytime running lights in automatic lights mode, and triple flash indicators? My door already auto locks after pulling away

anything else that can be set?


I'm ringing my dealer with some niggles about the car (faulty PDC, foggy fog lamps) so I might ask them to adjust these settings too - should have done that as part of the handover I guess.

I have a list at home for the Pre-facelift which is the coding read directly from the car, ill post it later for you mate if you wish... I also have a partial translation list but most will need translating with help of Google or similar!

What you probably want however is the dealer checklist which i dont have unfortunately.

The post facelift does indeed have triple-flash. There is a daytime running light option on the Car memory also (uses halogen headlight bulbs at 50% output).

I find whenever i have my light on auto they are on all the time - even in bright sunshine (but maybe thats a xenon thing as my mums E90 is the same)

There is a vast list of items that can be coded for the car and then for each key. I have posted mine but it's a 2003 model so will be different to yours.

I woudl suggest you get the dealer to print you the full list specific to your year and model.

You can have DRL's, triple flash, window closing, seat, aircon, audio, etc., etc.

Lights that come on too early or late can have the sensitivity changed

Check you handbook for a list of what's programmable indicated by the symbol or take a look here for some ideas from mine
