Love watching car related programs, especially one where they restore old classics so I thought I'd make a list of the ones that are on TV.

There used to be a British restoration program on Turbo but I can't remember what it was called.

The ".....is born series". By far the best although seldom seen now. TV vet Mark Evans does an in depth build or rebuild. Did a race car, kit car, off road 4x4, MGB, helicopter, plane and a couple of bikes. Fantastic attention to detail if a bit dodgy presentation.

He recently did a programme about the diesel engine, which was quite good, was amazed by the deltec used in trains

That's the one I'm thinking about on Turbo. They did a 911 IIRC.

I like Car SOS, but like Dealer Wheelers, wished they spent a bit more time on the car fixing and a bit less of the Am Drams where they go looking for bits, although I dont mind when they get the bits refurbished and strip them down, like the Anti Lock valve box the other day on WD`s
