Since I bought my Z4M I noticed that, after sitting from 1 to 3 days, starting the engine required an unusual long crank (about 3-4 seconds). Quite odd, it didn't happen if there was less than 1 day or longer than 3 days since the engine was turned off.
This spring I ran 1 can of Liqui Moly Injector Reiniger, followed by 2 consecutive cans of Liqui Moly Ventil Sauber, then again 1 can of Injector Reiniger (each can added to a full fuel tank, and driven until about 7-8 liters remained in the tank before refueling).
I am glad to report that the hard start issue described above was solved.
I always considered fuel additives as "snake oils", but it seems that Liqui Moly ones actually do the job as advertised.
