So, this is basically an /M & Alpina meet? I'll go to the back.
It could be worse...I am going & I haven't even got a Zed!!

I know when I jump in with Darren it will make me miss my old one so much, nothing wrong with that lovely straight six in yours though. :driving:

It is indeed a brilliant engine Lee. So much so, I've just bought an M135i to keep the Zed company. I always knew I'd have 12 cylinders one day, just didn't expect them to be in different cars. :D

Don't worry, I keep high speed for the track. I'll be cruising along listening to Luther Vandross...

I'll probably have Mrs Bradders with me, so no Luther needed to stay chilled.

Great news  I don't think you can get a more complete allrounder than the M135i...I bet you are well chuffed! :D :driving:

Counting the days to delivery mate!

How come you parted with the MR?
The MR replaced my TVR then I missed the V8 from my TVR so I got a V8 E92 M3 but I didn't gel with that very well so now I have decided to go steady for a while & got my E90 330i...I seem to change cars like underpants nowadays! & I have swapped all these since august 2012...I did own my TVR for six years before that though & I loved that to bits.

I bet you are so excited about yours coming I know you will love it! :driving:

I would really like a R35 GTR as my preference is mainly straight line speed & power & I reckon that could tick the box for me one day hopefully.

Looking forward to having a decent daily driver at last. I've been rolling in a 1.4 TDI Polo for the last 4 years, so quite an upgrade!

The R35 GTR has ridiculous road presence, love them. You'll probably swap it after about 3 months though.

 you know me too well!!

I agree that's a tremendous upgrade  it will feel like a rocket after the polo for sure, I cant believe how quick the M135i is, I have watched a few vids on youtube from inside the car & they seem to go like the clappers...you will have lots of fun in that! :driving:

I have to visit Naples on the Monday and may fly out on the 13th, so currently it is a 25% chance I can come along. The roads above the Wolds are stunning...

I do intend to came to this from Worcestershire just depends on where Iam picking my daughter up from lincoln uni that weekend

Bump.

I'm still waiting for a chance to go out one evening and try out the route I've got in mind. Would people be up for a pub lunch on the day or shall we just stick to a drive with short breaks?
