Limited edition?

Grrr rang 3 garages today local-ish to me. No z4's within 100 miles of me now that tick the right boxes

I found the 3.0si Sports were very rare. I ended up having a saved search on the AUC site and checking it morning / afternoon / evening. As soon as a car came up that ticked the boxes it was worth a phone call. The good ones tended to sell within a day or so - I kid you not. Even though I was checking regularly it wasn't unusual for a car to already have a deposit on it by the time I called!

The more expensive or less-brilliant ones tend to stick around for a while though. Seems everyone wants a tasty 3.0si!

Just don't rush into it. Even though they were selling quickly I still stuck to my guns and would only put a deposit down after seeing & driving the car. Only way to make sure you don't end up with a 'project'.

Well I started my search 2 months ago, trying to be pre spring. Have one or two I will ring tomorrow. Driving 130 miles each way to view a car puts me off a little though, 300 miles costs me
£70, that's a lot to spend on a trip if the car is rubbish

I have discovered the below

2 hour drive away, seems to cheap to be true

And then this one

I'm also a little baffled by these two,

Other than 1 years difference in age and the fact one has a balloon attached to it. What else makes the £2500 difference in price?

Going to view the 2 cars in Torbay today, as it's aprox 90min drive from me,

The second car ticks most boxes but does seem over priced, are the dealers likely to budge on price much?

The more expensive one has Red Leather and Heated Seats and as you say a year newer all of which will make more desirable. The other just has a wind deflector.

Bottom line is I guess that car owes the dealer more money over and above the extra for age etc.

Not with you on the ballon though :?

Just got back from viewing the 57 plate up for £14500.

Car was immaculate in and out. Rather than being serviced in the ususal routine it had the following - oil service - inspection 1 - - inspection 2 (completed jan 2012). So it means next service due is an oil service in 18000 miles time. Brand new tyres, discs and pads also.

I still feel the price is a little high. I haave said i will elt them know by the end of the day.
