Like a swift kick in the nuts !

Worst case scenario you could take the damaged wheel for free or scrap value and drop it round to the wheel repair centre at Preston , I've had a couple repaired up there and been pleased with the results . Buckles corrected and cracks welded no problem. Even if your dubious about repaired wheels call round and check out what they do for yourself , because no doubt there's gonna be a few , don't repair wheels , replies after I've posted this

I would probably give it a go but i'm guessing they will want them back if sending me a different set out ?
Just awaiting their call but the silence tell's me its a NO & i'm gonna have to find alternative shoes

It's worth keeping in mind , I was amazed just what they can do and how big the place was , I expected a tyre monkey in a back street garage with a hammer but it's a proper place with a reception area , they even give out invoices

I like the wheels, I think they really suit the roadster, and I like the extra rubber look too.

But is the offset too aggressive? Looks like the wheels are protruding from the arches, doesn't look quite right to me.

What a shame mr wilks after all the support you've given forumites with their wheel changes - doesn't seem fair at all!

Hope you get sorted and end up with what you want.

:driving:

No single wheel available so i can have the tyres removed & they will collect the alloys with full refund or they have offered me a deal on some other wheels which includes free tyre change over of my tyres ( with balance etc & they have all high end equipment)
Its not the outcome i wanted but its fair enough so i'm gonna have a ponder for a few days

Bearing in mind i am looking for 5 spoke design , max concaveness ,staggered widths & 30/40 offset here's some options of which i already have a No1

The offset is 30 with 9.5j so pretty much maxed where it is , certainly wouldn't want to stick out any more but i just loved the design of the wheel & that's the numbers they came with .
The enforced switch may be for the best as the one i'm 99% on going with is 9j et 33 so means the wheel face will move in 8mm which should be perfection
Could also drop from 265 40 to 255 40 at the same time if needed

2 or 3.... Can't see 2 well enough to decide.

No 2 gets my vote :)

Mine also , i would run a poll but don't know how to :P

I think i may even prefer them to the ones you already have mr wilks

oh I do like a schmoozer  but i'm coming round to the same notion mate , they want another £100 out of me but they are a better branded wheel & even then they will be well under what they sell elsewhere for so think i will go for them

2, 3, 4, 1 in that order I think.

Think they all look better than the 3 you have

Concaveness I like a lot

Lovin the second pic down. Your going to need some bigger brakes now though.

Paint them black ?

That's going to be messy when you press the brake pedal and all the paint comes off the disks. :P

I like 2 and 3 in equal measures..

Are number 3 F10 M5 reps ? Seem quite similar.

Actually i think 3 might look better with it being an all silver wheel instead of the black inserts.

I din't mean the disc :D
tbh i was expecting to notice it when i fit the current wheels but when you get near the wheels being so concave & with black inners the eye doesn't focus on the discs & calipers , not concerned at all on that point if i choose the right wheel
