Hello

So i dont have xenons so my question is what is the best bulb replacement to go for for improved vision? Dont really want to go down the route of changing the lights. They are a little foggy (look mucky) but bmw are polishing the lights to sort this out. Also has anybody managed to code triple indication using carly? Mine is an early 2004.

cheers all

id always look at the philips ones or the osram

theres usually a choice over a slightly whiter/blue light over over distance so all down to personal preference

If you get the intravee module it has the the option for the 3 indicator flash amongst other things, but only really worth it if you have nav

Buy a hid kit. Don't bother wasting your money on upgraded halogen bulbs.

Just replace the bulbs with Osram Night Breakers H7 12v

Pointless really. I've done all that, no huge improvement whatsoever.

Only reason I removed my hid kit was because it caused the headlamps to flicker on start up, whilst the auto setting was enabled. There are kits which don't have this problem though, so I will be investing in another set soon.

Hi I went Phillips extreme vision and definitely noticed a big difference. However that said they would not win any prizes for fantastic vision. Perhaps carry a Cree bulb torch if it's a long throw of light you need. :D best of luck with your hunt for headlamps you are happy with.

Thanks all, i dont have a massive problem with the standard set up so have ordered some philips extreme more for the whiter light and improvement. I did think it was a pre facelift thing with the tripple indication. Thanks all for your comments
