Lights not working

Hi could anyone help please?

I have no indicators, full beam, dash board lights and no power in my heaters. My gauges all light up and all other electrical bits work.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks
Molly

......and welcome to the Forum

Some other things to consider/try......

- How old is the battery - a failing battery can cause some odd electrical problems
- Try disconnecting the battery for 20 mins and then try again
- As above check the fuses

Thank you all! Have an update which is slightly odd! This morning I got woken up by the alarm, got in the car and turned the indicators on and they worked! Now the alarm goes off whenever I lock it but not straight away. I only bought the car yesterday so I'm puzzled, the girl I bought it off says she's never had problems which must be untrue as I only drove it from wales to cornwall! I have checked all the fuses and changed the ones where we had issues, they looked fine but a bit grubby and nothing's changed. I phoned a bmw garage and they said the heater not working properly may be because it has gone into transport mode is this something any one has heard of?

Thanks again

Transport mode will affect the heater but not the lights. Sounds like an issue with the GM5 module, this controls alarm, indicators and other bits.

If it is an issue with the GM5 module then his a link on how to remove and replace:

......but would certainly try the battery first, how old is it?
