Just out of curiosity, I phoned a nearby BMW dealership today and was informed that one can actually get the OEM extinguisher locally, but that it needs to be especially ordered and shipped from Germany. The bracket will be the equivalent of £16 and the extinguisher £60. :thumbsdown:
I recently bought an extinguisher (non-BMW) in the store for 20% of that price.

I only bought mine because it was a clearance item at £20 all in - wouldn't have paid the full asking price (£50 here) as I can get a 4 litre one and some velcro fixing from the people who supply the extinguishers for our marshals at Oulton Park.
