If the car run,s ok with light on just ignore it until its time to buy your next car , then get it switched off & don,t bother posting the car in the "For Sale" section on here

Makes me think that's why the previous owner got rid, as the light came on shortly after picking it up!

Andy I feel for you buddy I really do! A mate of mine just that light come on turned out to be a coil pack? If I where you I would be looking at getting rid of it you have had lots of problems?!?

Yeah cheers mate-the time before it came on last was a coil problem-could tell then as there was a stutter/hesitation in performance-but this time nothing -just the yellow light.

Arrgh! Really sorry to hear this.

Have you read the codes yet? I'm wondering if it's the same problem never properly resolved or something new and different. If different, I'd say reset it and see if it comes back before getting too excited.

No one here would blame you one bit for moving on. It's still a difficult decision to make, though it's probably getting easier every time that stupid light comes on again!
