Light issues

Hi guys

My lights point down too much to the ground. Both lenses are clear and working well.

Can anyone advise on how to adjust these?

Thanks

Assume you’ve tried the adjuster on the light switch?

Halogen or xenon lights?

Not sure what lights I have, what’s the best way of telling?

I can’t see anything on the light switch apart from the toggle for the interior dash lights (see pic)

You have xenons

There is no manual adjuster on the switch

I would hazard a bet that one or both of your level adjusters have broken and are causing the lights to point down

From memory on a RHD car the adjusters connect to the lower wishbone, front is kerbside rear is offside

I agree.................... but I think they are both on the RH side.

I just noticed that when I put the lights on, they usually would raise. But now they don’t, they just stay down and dotn auto raise. Can anyone advice ?

Did you read the suggestion above?

Yes sorry, I’m just wondering why they’ve stopped auto raising when a few days ago they were, whether it’s another fault like a sensor that would lead them to lowering?

To note both my roof fault which is likely the micro switch (on another post) and what could be the auto light sensor on this have happened since I picked it up since getting all 4 sides of the dampers sorted

This is the reason for both of your failures. Someone's been in the boot for the rear shocks and also the headlight level sensors are connected to the suspension arms which have likely been moved beyond normal play and popped the arm off the sensor.

Yep. There it is. Elementary my dear Watson

Update re the lights. The garage confirmed it was the sensor that had popped out. They put it back in and gave it back to me, however I can’t see them self raise when putting them back on tonight.
Is there any re calibration needed to set them up again? Thanks in advance
