Light diagnosed again-

-Someone mentioned it may be a chaffing wire.
Lack of throttle is the problem 
If it was a chaffing wire it would come back quickly I would have thought due to contact.
Seriously once a month at least get the car nice and warm and drive it hard. I don't mean thrashing but foot to the floor up through the gears using the full rev range once or twice.

I agree with your chaffing point mate, but when it came on time before last -the car was going over very bumpy stretch of road for a couple of miles-which made me think has something been jolted e.g a wire?srhutch said:Lack of throttle is the problem

Just thought Id throw this in the mix .......
First thing Id do is pop into my local kwik fit .... And have them stick the emissions probe up the exhaust pipe ... If the emissions are good, then you know everything is working .... And you know know which direction to look.
If emissions are way off .... Then its either O2 sensors or cat .... If you have changed the O2 sensors .... Then ....
Anyway, doubt theyd charge you more than 20 quid for whats a 2 min test .......
