Wife just reported a light come on DTC, what is that?

Oh boy....is the DTC debate starting up again?
Lets say it's a complicated system, if the DTC light is illuminated you can spin the tires...

If it's illuminated when you start the car (without you pushing the button) then there is a fault with the system. Could be a wheel sensor (ABS) or some other stuff (my memory is failing atm).
