Light above badge at back of car

Hey,

The plastic red light above the BMW badge at the rear of the car has cracked. Any ideas where I would get a new one?

You mean the middle break light? Yes, sopers are the cheapest OEM supplier from what I've read.

Welcome to the Forum - as a newbie to the forum you may wonder what 'SOPERS' means, Sopers BMW of Lincoln. Ask for the spares department and mention the Forum when ordering, generally the cheapest of any BMW dealer and usually with you in a couple of days.

And put a bit in the Newbie section with details and pics of your Zed.

Thanks for replies. I live in Belfast and Bavaria BMW Belfast quoted me £58.96 just for the part. The car is Pheonix Yellow (2006 2.5si), so I think the red one probably looks better.

If I buy the part is it easy to fit yourself??

Think its a good bet to buy the springs with it and dont overtighten

Springs come with it and as per the other thread, it takes a deep socket to remove the 3 nuts (either 8 or 10 mm). Less then 2 minutes work.
