Life time coolant

I had my '05 z4 serviced after 3 years and 30kmiles.
The adviser told me that the coolant is life time in this model.
Can anyone verify this information?

NO, seriously, I don't see flushing coolant in maintenance schedule.
Is there anyone owning 04 and up have your coolant changed in the maintenance period.

Advisor is correct.

From BMW Operating Fluids group 17, Radiator:
Long-Term Coolant
The BMW engine coolant has a long term rating, except when the system requires repairs.
This coolant does not require service interval if no repairs are made to the vehicles cooling system.
Drained coolant is not to be reused. Top up with new coolant.

I would go for the change of the coolant, The cost is minimal and peace of mind is prceless :thumbsup:
For a car that is not cheap, I would do it! Better be safe than sorry!
