Lidl Polishing Machine

Just browsing Lidl's upcoming specials and they have a polisher for sale so my question is would this be suitable for a complete novice?

Give the angle grinder a go... you can cut that stupid roof off.... lol

I have tried a similar machine and to be honest thought it was rubbish, buy a proper one or stick to hand polishing in my opinion.

Halfrauds do a similar one for £50. For £20 it would be worth a shot

Have got one of them and it does the job

Who's going to buy first and post a report? Is it this weekend they're doing them? For £20 I am tempted. I got a 12v Halfrauds polisher at Xmas... nice thought, but doesn't really work. I think this costs about the same, surely must work better?

Hmm, not so sure on the polisher - is it not easier to do damage with a rotary polisher compared to a (more expensive) random orbital one such as a PC/Meguairs machine?

I can vouch for the axle stands (solid) and cordless LED lamp (very bright and already survived a drop from ~1.5m...)

the only problem with the jack, even for occasional use is that most Z's are lower than 13.5cm...i would think.
