Just bought this bad boy from Argoooooose seems to work quite well for cost
 
Never used the engine bay, battery terminals, it appears than only the positive has a dedicated connector, what do you guys connect the negative to?

really - how could you miss the earth post? I use these all the time for charging and would if needing to jump start it.
 
Separately I'd never ever buy cheap spanners. Ruined nuts, bolts, etc. and grazed knuckles. They are one of the tools to buy quality and use for life...

Halfords pro are worth ever penny, replaced if they break and always on some sort of discount/deal

Been lucky i guess, only had the car 18 months and never had to charge the battery.
