I have a driver's side mirror that was removed from my previous 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i when it had 21k miles. It was professionally removed by a BMW bodyshop after a MINOR front end collision that in NO way affected the mirror. The mirror was placed in the trunk of the car during repairs and subsequently forgot about and a new one was ordered, painted, & installed. The mirror worked perfectly when removed and is in excellent condition.

Willing to ship to aus?
Either way, I'm going to have to package it up and drop it off somewhere to be shipped: As long as buyer pays shipping, I don't mind sending it anywhere.

Any clue what might be the best method of delivery?

150 with shipping to canada?? :D
I can't quite do that, but you're super close. I'm getting over the flu, but I will get a box, get the mirror packed, weighed, record the dimensions and check shipping. This was a car I owned almost 5 years ago. I obviously want to be 100% sure that its auto-dimming. Is there a way to tell? I had 2-almost identical Maldive blue Z4s: One was 2003 & the other was a 2004. Both had the sport package, navi, etc. I know they both had auto-dimming rearview mirrors and this mirror has a bit of a green tint to it.

Can I get your Canadian postal code? Do you have a prefer method of shipping?

dont care how it gets here... k1n 0a9

not sure how to tell if its auto dimming but that the only reason i want it... previous owner of my car and an accident and installed a non tinting mirror to replace the broken one... now i have the rearview and passenger mirror tinting and not the drivers side, makes a huge difference.

id stil offer the same price though and i dont need the whole thing, can you take it appart and just ship the internals and mirror?

I'll do $150 for the internals and mirror shipped. I'm googling right now to verify the packages/options. When I made this ad, I still had my '04 with the window sticker (both cars were identically optioned with the exception of the seat colors) so I must've felt pretty comfortable in saying it was auto-dimming to have listed it. I'm a stickler for details, but I've simply forgot and will make sure we're both 100% comfortable knowing that I'm sending you what you want.

Alright, my research shows that the Convenience package gave the car interior & exterior auto-dimming mirrors. In this package was also the onboard computer, auto-Ac, and Rain sensor for the wipers. (Source: http://www.new-cars.com/2003/bmw/2003-bmw-z4-30i.html)

I dug through my FB and found pictures of my Z4s. As I said, they were identically optioned with the exception that my 2003 had black leather and my 2004 had tan. Below are pictures of both cars. You can see the OBC function on the stalk of in the first picture and the second picture is a dated photo of my '04 showing the OBC on the navigation screen.

I've tried to get this apart , buts I'm too nervous about breaking the glass. Shipping is fairly expensive, but if you'll do $160 shipped, I'll let you have the whole thing.

does anyone have experience taking this apart, i wouldnt want to buy it only to break it myself, if its easy i would get it i think
