MrPT said:Great race. Agree that Lewis was right to ignore the orders but they shouldn't have asked him in the first place. Especially not via his race engineer.

If I'd have been Hamilton when he pulled the escape lane stunt I'd have chinned the cheating German tosserStevenH72 said:original guvnor said:Well that would make it 1-1 wouldn't it?!!![]()
+1 Rosberg isn't the saint people think he is.
Also, asking for team orders when you're out of DRS range is ludicrous, coupled with the fact that his tyres had 3-4 laps left and were starting to go off pretty much as soon as he caught Hamilton and I doubt that Nico would have got away from Hamilton even if he had have gotten past.

Anyone claiming to be German who is not German would be getting another chinningoriginal guvnor said:I take exception to that. He's not German!!!
original guvnor said:So when has Hamilton been dishonest about a "cock-up"? Was it when his team supplied him with a faulty set of brake discs in Germany or perhaps when they didn't secure the fuel line and set his car on fire in Hungary? Or maybe it was when he made a mistake in q3 in Silverstone and admitted his error and apologised to anyone who would listen.
Look if you don't like the guy that's your prerogative but he's just about the most honest guy on the grid (to his detriment it seems).
Ricciardo is a great talent but that win fell into his lap a bit today. But to be fair, he took advantage of it, which is what great drivers do.
