So yea, not sure if mine were tinted from factory or after....
Regardless there's a few spots in the driver/passenger side that have holes. The tint is not as dark as I would like to have it.
From looking I can get away with a 20% which is as dark as law allows around here. Could be 10% if it was a Limousine, but a sporty two seat'er can not be called a Limo. (hahaha)

From looking at the tint I would guess it to be about a 35% tint. I want it darker.

So question is, are yours tinted, and what percent are they, and how much did it cost? Also can ya post a pic if your car is black?
My thing is about murdering it out. And before ya bitch about my 3rd brake light... it gives possible rear enders a reason to NOT say, "I didn't see it cause it was to dark." excuses.

So yea, examples and cost cause I dearly want mine redone.

You think 20% is legal

This would be almost blacked out with only 20% of light getting in totally illegal. 70% is legal letting 70% light through

There is no law on back or the rear sides behind driver can have any grade

I had 20% all way round on my e46 it was too dark looked like a drive by wagon id go for 35% all round next time. Even thats illegal but more subtle so at worst if stopped they will only make you remove the front side windows.

They should have all grade samples to shoe you. 0% is darkest letting no light through (limo) and 100% would be lightest letting all light through. Between 35 and 50 is a nice shade. Remember darker interior makes it seem more tinted so factor that in

Yes in US. And yes I can get away with 20%.

Was kind of hoping for a price range as the tinters around my area don't say what the cost (or even a general price range) of stripping the old for new.

Dammit. Was hoping to save myself a little time and not have to listen to yadda yadda at a place.

Guess thats what I get to get quoted next weekend.
