My mate built a V8 MGB roadster when we were in our late teens/ early twenties, heritage shell the lot, in Tartan red (your picture reminded me of it)... he eventually sold it as it just sat in the garage. We were discussing it the other day and now that he's taking early retirement he would like to track the car down and maybe buy it back. I've done an MOT search on it and its not been on the road under its original number plate since 2009 (either it has a new reg / or gone to the big MGB dismantlers in the sky... I doubt it as it only 3k on the clock). I was thinking about putting some feelers out on a couple of MGB forums? This my toy a 1969 MGB Roadster great when its not draining my bank account

You paid £10k for a bicycle? Are you mad?This... The wheels alone are 4k and the total build is just a smidge over £10,000
