Alas not, but my brother queued and got one. Lovely looking things. My Swatch buying history stopped around the late 90’s although it kickstarted again last year with that Big Jelly seen in my pic.Argyll Andy said:inkey$ said:Got around 30 or so Swatch Watches I started collecting in the late 80’s. 2013 Hamilton Jazzmaster Open Heart with original strap and pin buckle - my first foray into watches, and I love the open heart design. Bought by me for me as a wedding present.

2022 Frederique Constant Highlife Chronograph Ltd Edition with original leather strap (however I have added an FC deployment clasp in place of the pin buckle. It came with 3 straps - leather, rubber & bracelet - which was a nice touch, and increases it's usability) - picked up last week to mark a milestone in 2022.
I've used smart watches as my daily for about 10 years (3 pebbles, then moved to Samsung Galaxy line-up as they actually looked like a watch. Currently use a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic), but find I've become almost dependent on it. I leave my phone permanently on silent, and don't always feel/pay attention to the vibrations, so I rely on the watch. Without it, I tend to miss a lot of notifications, and so I often favour the Samsung over the watches above - this makes it all the more special when I wear them, but they deserve a bit more wrist time than they get.
I'm hoping to break that cycle this year, and wear them more often, and not just for the odd wedding or big event. Besides, there's always a fledgling startup promising to help give your classic watch some smart features in a subtle way, however none ever seem to go the distance. Maybe 2023 will be their year (and mine).

Hmmm..... a watch on either wrist, I hadn't considered that. I'd thought about a discreet fitness tracker (like a whoop, or small fitbit - something that isn't a watch), but not sure I could pull it off - food for thought though!
I'm a fan of the blue strap as well, although the vibrant blue rubber sports strap that came with it is also very pleasing to the eye. I think it will see the most action.

Added 2 watches recently from Mr Jones Watches.
One on the left is called Ricochet the other Number Cruncher which has the seconds and a car swirling around in the monsters stomach.
These are great fun and have mechanical jumping hour movements. They also do quartz in other designs. The dial is made up printed discs to give them depth. I think the robots have hand applied foil that makes them shimmer in the light. Something different and fun.
Tim.
